I'm alive

I'm going to try and get all Computer savy and let you all know that I'm still alive. Megan said that in order for me to add my music to this page I would have to write something so here it is. Meg has covered every thing so I don't have much to say. Now someone show her how to put the music on the page please.

10 things you didn't know about me!

This is in response to Marci's Tag. I am supposed to tell you 10 things you might not know about me.
I feel that I am not that interesting of a person, but here we go.
1- I love to sing even though I am not good at it, nothing relieves my stress like belting out a good song!
2- I want to be just like my mom some day. Everyone loves her and at this point in my life she has more energy than me.
3- I would love to own my own business some day I just don't know anything about how to do it.
4- I have a degree in Health Science Education, and am not sure what to do with it.
5- My greatest fear is losing my husband or one of my children.
6- I LOVE CANDY, not one day goes by that I don't eat some kind of candy.
7- My favorite flowers are Daisies and Sunflowers
8- I call my husband 2-4 times a day whether he likes it or not.
9- I truly believe in Love and Logic, I just have a hard time living it. I listen to their parenting Cd's on a regular basis.
10- I WANT TO GO TO BEAUTY COLLEGE REALLY BAD-(oh wait, every one knows that)

Questions of The Week

Question 25- Does any particular season make you happier than others? If so, do you know why?

Megan: Summer of course! For obvious reasons. I get to get out of my house and so do my kids, the sun feels great, we get to go camping, and the drive-in is open.

Question 26- Do you like your first name? Have you ever wished you had a different name? What would it be?

Megan: I do like my first name. I do however remember pretending my middle name was Jasmin from Aladdin when I was in grade school.

Question 27- When you are sick and feeling poorly, do you like to be alone or do you like to be pampered and have someone close by your side most of the time?

Megan: I definitely like to be pampered. The last thing I want is to be left alone. I remember one time when I was four I was really sick with strep-throat and I took a nap, when I woke up I couldn't find anyone and I was scared to death (they were outside).

So everyone is caught up on my kids so I thought I would take a second for Cody and I. We are and have always been busy. We both are the same way that when things slow down that means you need to find something else to do. It works for us and makes us interesting people I think. We like to try new things even if we fail. Sometimes I think we surprise ourselves at what we can do, for instance we built a house (our biggest shock) Cody as been in I think about every area at work and has sense learned how to build just about everything from tables, bed, dressers, and most recent upholstering chairs, couches, etc. I continue to sew, make jewelry, cook, do hair, etc although my stuff is not amazing it keeps me busy and I enjoy it. Eventually when I get all of this figured out I would like to put some pictures on here, but I am still learning.
One thing Cody and I have been doing lately is e-mailing back and forth. I start off by e-mailing three questions to him, he will throughout the day answer the questions and I will do the same. We send the answers to each other and then I save them in our file. This is our new way of journaling. Some day when our kids care we will share this with them. I thought for the heck of it I will post the questions if you are interested.

Las Vegas

Cody and I were lucky enough to get away for the weekend. We went to Vegas for a late Valentines Day gift, it was supposed to be a surprise but that doesn't work out well when you leave the itinerary on the kitchen counter. Regardless we had a lot of fun. We were able to see The Phantom Of The Opera, it was fantastic!! We went through almost every hotel and by the second day my legs were killing me. On a sad note Cody had to stay there for the rest of the week for a work convention. He his learning a lot and feeling very confident about what is being taught. He is missing his kids, he has not seen them for a week now. We are getting very anxious for him to come home, it is a good thing we have unlimited minutes on our phone.

Bear

Ryker is now a Terrible Two, I wish that was an understatement. He has mastered the fine art of throwing a fit. He can be so dang cute one minute and the very next one he is screaming and kicking about who knows what. By the end of the day I don't know whether to scream or cry. He is learning to talk a lot better now and it is so fun. He loves his Aunt Jill-Bean so much I think it is crushing Grandma a little. We are trying to enjoy every moment of him knowing that he is our last little baby, at the same time are anxious for our next sage in life where there are no more diapers or sippy's or big car seats.

Little Man

Coledyn is in 1st grade this year and his teacher is Mrs. Ramos. He loves math and has gotten 100 percent on all of his spelling test but one. He has a harder time with comprehension, but we are working on it every day. His new found love is tennis of course two months ago it was wrestling. We chose to just go with it. He can pick one thing to do at a time. He has gotten so big and is a great helper. He is looking forward to turning eight this year and being baptized like his cousin Tucker Rady.

Kenasyn "Roo"

Roo is in pre-school this year and she has the best teacher ever- her grandma. Right now Roo likes to play dress-up, baker, house, etc as long as it is with her friend Haley. She would like to play every day starting at 8:00 a.m. if I would let her. She is also in ballet and she is working on being graceful. She is learning to skip instead of stomp and twirl instead of spin. She is getting through her attitude phase and we getting along much better now. She is such a cute girl and we are loving her to death.

Welcome to my first blog ever! I will apologize now until I get use to this. I should start off first by saying this is Marci Biglers fault(my new long lost friend, I love her to death), she tagged me. (that is code for making you do something even if you don't want to) She has truly broadened my horizons with an introduction to text messaging and now blogging, I am worried about what could possibly be next.
